Answers to our most frequently asked questions.
Q: Are your products available at retail locations?
A: At this time my products are available at Alair, in West Seattle, WA. Please support this great PNW shop if your are close by!
Q: Are you products really handmade?
A: All art prints are created from original paintings in gouache and watercolor, by Bri Davey.
The bags, hats, pillow covers and planters are made with two hands cutting, knitting, pinning, fastening, riveting, measuring, ironing and etc. For sewing the seams of the bags and sewing the labels to the bags and hats, a vintage 1940’s Singer sewing machine, (that I hand-feed) does the trick. There is no assembly line here! Just two very busy hands and a lot of love! Many hours are spent creating each piece so that it arrives to you as a well-made, durable, and functional product that you will use for years to come.
Q: What shipping method do you use?
A: Products ship via USPS Priority Mail or Express, depending on your selection at checkout. Products are shipped in recycled and recyclable padded envelopes with recycled kraft tissue and a sticker.

A: Photos were taken by the incredible Wendi Nordeck at Nordeck Photo in Portland, OR. All images are copyright. Please ask permission before using any of my photos.
Q: Will you be making any other products?
A: Yes, please stay in touch via instagram (@bridaveymakes) for the latest!
Q: How should I care for my bag, pillow cover, planter or hat?
A: For the waxed canvas and wool bags, pillow covers and planters, please spot clean them only. They are 100% waxed canvas and 100% wool. DO NOT IRON. Ironing will do messy things to the waxed canvas and cause the wool to shrink. The leather pieces have been pre-treated with olive oil and will darken and soften over time. To see a photo my first bag that shows the darkened color of the leather straps, please view my Story page. To condition the straps further, pour a small amount of olive oil on a soft cloth and gently rub evenly into the leather pieces.
For the knit hats, please spot clean only. DO NOT IRON. The hats are 100% wool and ironing or drying in a dryer will cause them to shrink. If absolutely needed, you can hand wash your hat in cold water, but you may have some color loss or color bleeding.
